NPORS

The NPORS scheme was established in 1992 and is fully recognised by the HSE.

The advantage of the NPORs scheme is that they offer photographic ID cards for lots of courses that are normally only available on in house certification, examples of this are Vehicle Marshalling and Abrasive Wheels to name but two. As a fully accredited NPORS provider we can offer NPORS cards for over 30 categories and the flexibility of the scheme allows us to deliver these on site and in the workplace. This doesn’t always prove practical as site criteria’s need to be met and dedicated training areas provided but it is a viable option.

The main advantage of the NPORs scheme is the ability to add restrictions to cards as and when it suits. Basically if you want excavator training or dumper training then the standards are very similar to CPCS but if for example you require a telescopic handler licence but you don’t ever need to load scaffold towers above a certain height then the NPORS scheme allows us to tailor the test criteria to suit your needs.

This scheme is suitable for any industry and some courses are only available through the NPORS accreditation. If you would like to know if NPORS is suitable for your requirements then get in touch with us and we will discuss your needs and explain the advantages and disadvantages if any that you will encounter through choosing this option.
